Rhode Island I-95 Highway Restrictions Thru November 6

The Rhode Island Department of Transportation is reporting the following highway restrictions on I-95 thru Friday, November 6, 2015

– Hopkinton/Richmond: I-95 North and South at Exit 1 (Rte. 3) and Exit 2 (Hopkinton) and the Weigh Station, watch for an off-the-road construction crew, Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

– Cranston/Providence: I-95 North at Exit 16 (Rte. 10 North), exit closed for bridge work, Sunday night from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day. Follow signed detour.

– Cranston/Providence: Rte. 10 North to I-95 North, ramp closed for bridge work, Monday night from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day. Follow signed detour.

– Hopkinton/Richmond: I-95 North and South, at Exit 2 (Hopkinton) and Exit 4 (Rte. 3), temporary closures of the on- and off-ramps possible for paving, Sunday-Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day. Follow signed detours.

– Warwick: I-95 South at Exit 14B (Rte. 37 West), exit closed for bridge work, Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Follow signed detour using Exit 14A (Rte. 37 East.)

– Cranston/Providence: I-95 North and South at Exit 16 (Rte. 10), left lane closed and ramp narrowing possible for bridge work, Sunday-Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.

– Cranston to Pawtucket: I-95 North and South, from I-295 to the Massachusetts state line, alternating lane and shoulder closures and ramp narrowing possible for striping, Sunday-Thursday nights from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day.

– East Greenwich/Warwick to Providence: I-95 North and South, from Rte. 4 to Exit 18 (Thurbers Ave.), lane and shoulder closures possible for bridge work, Sunday-Thursday nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.

– East Providence: I-195 East, from Exit 4 (Taunton Ave.) to Exit 6 (Warren Ave.), and I-195 West, from Exit 6 (Broadway) to Exit 3 (Gano St.), alternating lane closures for a bridge inspection, Monday and Tuesday nights from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m.

– East Providence: I-195 East, from Exit 6 (Warren Ave.) to Exit 1 (Massachusetts state line), and I-195 West, from Exit 1 (Massachusetts state line) to Exit 6 (Broadway), alternating lane closures for a bridge inspection, Wednesday and Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m.

– Pawtucket: I-95 North and South, from the Broadway overpass to the Central Ave. overpass, alternating lane and shoulder closures in a moving operation for a bridge inspection, Wednesday and Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.

– Warwick: I-295 North and South, from I-95 to Exit 2 (Rte. 2), alternating lane closures for a bridge inspection, Thursday night from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. the following day.

– West Greenwich: I-95 South and North, from Exit 8 (Rte. 2) to Exit 6 (Rte. 3), alternating lane closures for a bridge inspection, Wednesday and Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. the following day.

Wednesday night: I-95 South
Thursday night: I-95 North

– Exeter: I-95 North and South, from Exit 5 (Rte. 102) to Exit 6 (Rte. 3), right shoulder closed for electrical work, Monday-Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

– Hopkinton/Richmond: I-95 North and South at Exit 1 (Rte. 3), Exit 2 (Hopkinton), Exit 5 (Rte. 102) and the Weigh Station, watch for an off-the-road construction crew, Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

– Warwick: I-95 South, between Exit 15 (Jefferson Blvd.) and Exit 14 (Rte. 37), right lane closed for bridge work, Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

– Providence: Traffic using Exit 22 (Downtown Providence/Rtes. 6 & 10) has been redirected to a temporary off-ramp. The existing ramp will be closed until Fall 2015 for ongoing construction at the Providence Viaduct.
