A New Season of FUN at Worlds of Fun

As Worlds of Fun kicks off its 45th season this upcoming weekend, park goers will experience many new exciting changes and additions. For starters, guests will be greeted with a remodeled front gate featuring a beautiful iconic hot air balloon sculpture inspired by the Jules Verne classic, Around the World in Eighty Days. Not only is this new entry point a picture perfect setting, but it has been redesigned to accommodate more visitors, allowing families to get their day started in the park faster than ever.

Upon entering, guests will immediately take notice of an all new and breathtaking International Plaza. This is bound to become a new favorite gathering place for friends and family to meet and plan their day of fun. But that’s just the beginning, in addition to 7 world class roller coasters and dozens of family rides, two new thrill rides are awaiting 2017 visitors:

As fall approaches, you can count on another scary and edgy season of Haunt. But the fun will not stop there. Worlds of Fun is adding another 23 days to this 2017 season with the introduction of WinterFest. This brand new holiday spectacle is sure to become a Kansas City family tradition with hundreds of thousands of holiday lights, live shows, ice skating and so much more!

It’s not too late to purchase a 2017 Gold Season Pass at the lowest price of the year at worldsoffun.com. Season Passholders will get to experience the park before anyone else during the Worlds of Fun Passholder Sneak Peek event this Thursday, April 13 from 6-10 pm. The park opens to the public on Friday, April 14.
