The St. Augustine Aquarium, Snorkel Adventure & Zipline will be an exciting new Northeast Florida marine attraction scheduled to open in 2015. The first phase consists of an 80,000-gallon Snorkel Adventure, an interactive Shark & Stingray Lagoon, eel, seahorse and hands-on exhibits alongside an awesome Zipline and Adventure course.
Come join us for a day of interaction with some of Florida’s most beautiful marine species and enjoy shark, stingray and fish feeding. For the adventurous, Snorkel up close and personal with sea life in a natural reef environment. Follow that up and ride a really cool Zipline and Adventure course situated in the tree canopy of 5 acres of mature woodlands. Wetsuits, masks, snorkels and zip line gear are provided.
The second phase, scheduled to open Summer 2016, adds 250,000 gallons and 8000 square feet of indoor marine conservation habitats that include sharks, stingrays, moray eels, barracuda, octopus, jellyfish and over 70 species of exciting reef fish. You can experience an 18th century shipwreck reef, surrounded by sharks, while submerged in a real shark cage. Also enjoy behind the scenes tours, delicious food in our café and souvenirs and collectables in our gift shop.
