North Carolina: Parades and Fireworks Highlight Fayetteville’s Area’s Independence Day Celebration

4th of July Events | I-95 Exit Guide

Beginning on Wednesday, July 1st and continuing right up to the big day, July 4th celebrations are taking center stage here in America’s Hometown. Fort Bragg and the communities of Cumberland County have planned ball games, runs, concerts, picnics, parades, and ? of course… fireworks galore to celebrate our country’s birthday in style.

July 1 Events

North Carolina Symphony presents Independence Day
Festival Park, 8 p.m.
Enjoy a good, old-fashioned salute to the red, white and blue. Hear patriotic favorites and high-spirited classics to honor America on its birthday. This event is free and open to the public, no ticket required.

July 3 Events

Fayetteville SwampDogs
JP Riddle Stadium, gates open at 5 p.m., game starts at 7:05 p.m.
Come watch the Fayetteville SwampDogs in action at The Swamp as they take on the Holly Springs Salamanders! After the game enjoy the BEST fireworks extravaganza of the summer as the Swampdogs kick off the celebration to honor America.

July 4 Events

Fort Bragg’s Independence Day Celebration
Fort Bragg Main Parade Field, 3 p.m. – 10 p.m.
The July 4th Celebration is held annually at the Main Post Parade Field. This years featured performers are country music artists Randy Houser and Easton Corbin. Other activities include USASOC’s Black Daggers Parachute Team, the patriotic flag ceremony, and fireworks. Kiddieland returns this year with unlimited play for $10. Hope Mills’ Independence Day Celebration, Parade, Party & Fireworks
Hope Mills, NC, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Parade begins at 10 a.m. at Hope Mills Middle School and ends at the Hope Mills Recreation Center on Rockfish Road. “Party in the Park” festivities to take place at Fields 1 & 2 from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. to include live music and entertainment, food and kid friendly activities. Spring Lake’s 4th of July Festival on Main Street
Main Street, Spring Lake, NC, 12 p.m. ’til dark
This special event includes live entertainment, kid’s zone, water activities, car show, food and craft vendors. For more details, please call the Spring Lake Chamber at (910) 497-8821.

Firecracker 4 Miler Run
NC Veterans Park, 7 a.m.
A 4-mile course winds through the beautiful and historic parks and museums of downtown Fayetteville. The Firecracker 4 Miler is a green event. Limited printed materials are available, and runners will be supplied with virtual race bags.
