I-95 Lane and Ramp Closures in Rhode Island Thru November 20

I-95 Rhode Island Construction | I-95 Exit Guide

The Rhode Island Department of Transportation is reporting the following I-95 Interstate highway restrictions thru November 20:

– Cranston/Providence: I-95 North and South at Exit 16 (Rte. 10), alternating lane closures and ramp narrowing possible for bridge work, Sunday-Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.

– Cranston to Providence: I-95 North and South, from the Massachusetts state line to Exit 14 (Rte. 37), alternating lane and shoulder closures and ramp narrowing possible for striping, Sunday-Thursday nights from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day. Please be mindful of the possibility of double left lane closures at the Thurbers Ave. Curve and the Pawtucket S Curve during this operation.

– Hopkinton/Richmond: I-95 North and South at Exit Exit 2 (Hopkinton), alternating lane closures for construction, Sunday-Wednesday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.

– Pawtucket: I-95 North and South, from the Broadway overpass to the Central Ave. overpass, alternating lane and shoulder closures in a moving operation for a bridge inspection, Monday-Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.

– Providence: I-95 North under Branch Ave., alternating lane closures for a bridge inspection, Sunday night from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. the following day.

– Providence: I-95 South and North, under Smithfield Ave., alternating lane closures for a bridge inspection, Monday and Tuesday nights from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. the following day.

Monday night: I-95 South
Tuesday night: I-95 North

– Warwick: I-95 North and South, from Exit 12 (I-295 SB/Rte. 113) to Exit 13 (Airport Connector), lane and shoulder closures possible for bridge work, Sunday-Thursday nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day. The on-ramps from Rte. 113 to I-95 North and South will also be closed at this time. Follow signed detour.

– West Greenwich: I-95 North and South at Exit 5 (Rte. 102) alternating lane closures for a bridge inspection, Wednesday and Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. the following day.

– Hopkinton/Richmond: I-95 North and South at Exit Exit 2 (Hopkinton) and Exit 4 (Rte. 3) and the Weigh Station, watch for an off-the-road construction crew, Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
