Smithfield North Carolina’s I-95, exit 95 is getting a Starbucks, Chipotle Mexican Grill and Buffalo Wild Wings within the next few weeks.
All three restaurants will open near Carolina Premium Outlets in a development called Smithfield Landing, located on Outlet Center Drive.
The Starbucks is expected to open in October and Chipotle will follow in early November. Buffalo Wild Wings will open in December.
The project’s developer, Carolina Holdings likes the site because it’s right off Exit 95 of Interstate 95, which is already popular thanks to its grouping of restaurants, hotels and Smithfield Cinemas. That stretch of I-95 sees up to 40,000 cars each day and the nearby Carolina Premium Outlets attracts about 7 million shoppers each year.
